Dr Low performing an eye examination on a female patient for presbyopia

Thanks @8worldnews for the interview and opportunity to share insights on the increasing number of younger adults presenting with presbyopia (老花眼)–like symptoms.

While presbyopia remains an age-related condition, earlier symptoms are being observed clinically, often linked to prolonged screen time, sustained near work and insufficient visual breaks.

Common symptoms include blurry near vision, eye strain, headaches and needing to hold reading material farther away.

This highlights the need for good visual habits and regular eye checks.
